Construction Project Manager Full-Time | Exempt Overview An underground utilities contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee utility construction projects from planning through completion. This role ensures work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project budgets and schedules. Key Responsibilities Manage underground utility construction projects from start to finish. Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance. Identify project risks and implement solutions to avoid delays or added costs. Prepare project documentation, reports, and change orders as needed. Review plans, bids, and technical project documents. Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience in construction; underground utilities experience preferred. Strong understanding of underground construction methods, scheduling, and cost control. Proficiency in project management tools and standard office software. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to read construction plans and utility mapping. Additional Requirements Ability to travel to job sites regularly. Able to work extended or irregular hours based on project needs.
