In this role, you will support various phases of building projects, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety standards. Your hands-on involvement will contribute to the successful completion of diverse construction tasks, from site preparation to finishing touches. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in the construction industry while working on engaging hardscaping and building projects. Responsibilities Assist with interpreting and implementing construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution. Support the installation of building materials, including drywall, stucco, plastering, and trim carpentry, ensuring quality standards are met. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as window installation, caulking, and caulking, as well as general carpentry work. Help with heavy equipment operation under supervision for site preparation and material transport. Conduct construction inspections to verify compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and project specifications. Support the setup and cleanup of job sites, including hardscaping construction projects and outdoor work areas. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects, ensuring efficient workflow and quality craftsmanship. Requirements Prior construction experience or related hands-on work in building sites or remodeling projects. Familiarity with construction management principles and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment operation. Knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to OSHA or local safety standards on job sites. Experience with building material installation such as drywall, stucco, plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry. Ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks.
