Responsibilities Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services. Excludes First-Line Supervisors. Qualifications BA/BS from an accredited college or university in one of the following disciplines: engineering, business, logistics, management, math, sciences, and professional aeronautics with 14 plus years in the performance and execution of U.S. Navy requirements.

Substitution:

Within the 14 years, at least three years of management experience shall be in technical program/project work related to U.S. Naval aircraft maintenance.

High school graduate or equivalent with 20 plus years in the performance and execution of U.S. Navy requirements. Experience in establishing policy and procedures, training, and safety programs. Experience managing operating budgets and fund expenditures for supplies and/or equipment; in flight operation plans, programs, and evaluation of maintenance and supply capability to support such programs. Experience in aircraft maintenance plans, procedures, and policies with collective experience in monitoring and directing maintenance and supply activities. Possess an extensive background in the field of aircraft maintenance and material support with a minimum of 15 years of experience with 10 years of the last 15 years in direct aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modification. Candidates must have been released from military service with an Honorable Discharge to meet minimum qualifications. Ability to maintain a secret security clearance Pay Range
