Position is for a Construction Manager (internal title: Project Manager) responsible for overseeing municipal construction and engineering projects with a professional engineering and development firm located in Riverside County, California. Duties include, but are not limited to: Manage capital improvement projects including civil works, street improvements, pipelines, wells, lift stations, and water/wastewater treatment facilities; Lead project meetings and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal departments; Ensure accurate, up-to-date project documentation including submittals, RFIs, inspection reports. Collaborate with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant project execution; Draft and manage Scopes of Work (SOW) for procurement and Notices Inviting Bids (NIBs); Prepare and support agencies As-Needed service bid packages; Support design team in early project stages by assisting with RFP development and attending kickoff/review meetings; Maintain expenditure logs, track project budgets, and prepare/process of change order. Monitor project compliance, track progress, and report on; Facilitate and lead pre-construction and construction progress meetings; Process progress payments and maintain detailed financial and project records; Review contract documents, plans, and permits for compliance; Prepare engineering proposals, qualifications, letters, reports, presentations, brochures, and award submittals; Complete, upload, and maintain records of Certified Payroll for prevailing wage employees; Attend field walks, pre-construction meetings, and monitor construction noticing requirements; Conduct plan reviews/facilitate project design drawing submittals, and technical specifications at multiple stages (30%, 60%, 90%, 100%), and maintain redline drawings during construction. Requires a Master's Degree in Business Administration. Must be certified as a Project Management Professional.

Job Site:

Employee will be regularly required to travel to various different locations within Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Orange counties.
