This role provides direct leadership and supervision of Direct Care Staff (DCS) serving individuals in a group home setting. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

What You'll Be Doing:

Develop, implement, and regularly monitor Individual Service Plans (ISPs) for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring services are person-centered. Oversee the care and support for up to eighteen individuals with intellectual disabilities. Collaborate closely with medical, and mental health professionals to coordinate care and ensure each client's medical, behavioral, and therapeutic needs are met. Conduct routine facility visits, observations, and program assessments to evaluate service delivery, staff performance, and the effectiveness of support provided to the individuals living in the homes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, monthly summaries, incident reports, and updates reflecting changes in individuals' status or needs. Advocate for each individuals' rights, health, safety, and personal goals, ensuring services align with regulatory and ethical standards. Coordinate, lead, and actively participate in Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings, facilitating communication among the person receiving services, their family and/or friends, and other members of the IDT. Ensure full compliance with all applicable state, federal, and agency regulations governing developmental disability care services. Supervise and support a team of 20-25 Direct Care Staff (DCS), ensuring completion of all required training requirements, and conducting ongoing performance monitoring to identify training needs, address gaps, and maintain compliance and quality standards. Create, manage, and adjust staff work schedules to ensure adequate coverage across all shifts and to meet the needs of individuals served while maintaining required staffing ratios. Serve as a primary point of contact for individuals residing in the homes, their families, staff members, and Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) participants, ensuring clear and professional communication.

Education & Competency Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a human service field (psychology, social work, special education, sociology, behavioral sciences, or related). Valid California Driver's License with personal auto insurance (meeting minimum California requirements).

Qualification Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role. Minimum 2 years of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Knowledge of Title 22 and Title 17 regulations, Health & Safety Code requirements, and Regional Center service standards. Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office platforms. Schedule flexibility to meet facility and/or client needs.

Compensation:

$72,500 to $80,000 (The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience and qualifications.)
