The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. This individual needs to have an excellent understanding of the current construction market and be able to lead teams during all aspects of new construction projects from start to finish. The Superintendent must have a solid knowledge base in all aspects of construction, including building materials, sequencing, equipment and machinery. Responsibilities :

Execute contract documents Ensure that building operations are carried out in a safe manner and meets Cal-OSHA requirements Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and other personnel Inspect and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Maintain a good working relationship with all contractors, clients, vendors, and subcontractors Collect and analyze information for the project and company Manage subcontractor sequence and schedules Consistent and clear communication with construction team, owners and inspectors Call for inspections and conform to requirements of jurisdiction Ensure jobsite safety and report any safety concerns or issues Implement and enforce quality control standards Required Qualifications At least 5 years of previous GC work experience as Superintendent in commercial construction ($20M+) Proficient in Procore and Bluebeam Proven experience managing multi story or complex commercial builds Must be willing to travel if necessary Active Driver License and clean driving record Must have and maintain personal automobile insurance Proficient with construction management software Procore Strong leadership qualities Strong negotiation skills Deadline and detail-oriented Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and safety regulations Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings Excellent leadership and organizational skills and personal integrity Exceptional verbal and written communication skills OSHA 30 Must be able to walk job sites daily, climb ladders, and navigate uneven terrain Ability to work extended hours to meet project deadlines Benefits Standard Construction offers comprehensive insurance including medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life insurance, 401k, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, bonuses, vehicle allowance, and more.
