We are looking for an energetic individual with Heavy Highway and Civil works experience to join the Martin Brothers Family. The estimator/Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and supervise Highway and Heavy Civil estimating projects and will provide technical and administrative direction.

The Opportunity We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex heavy civil engineering projects. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technology, manage high-impact infrastructure projects, and join a company that values professional growth and work-life balance. What You'll Do Lead and mentor project teams, including field staff, subcontractors, and craft workers Oversee multiple complex heavy civil projects from inception to completion Manage project financials, including budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting Drive project success through strategic planning and risk management Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members Ensure project compliance with safety standards, specifications, and quality requirements What You Bring Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management 10+ years of heavy civil construction Project Management experience Proven track record managing large-scale heavy/highway projects Expert knowledge of construction practices including paving, underground utilities, concrete work, and grading Strong understanding of union agreements and prevailing wage requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management software (Trimble/Project Site/Microsoft Project/Primavera P6) Viewpoint/Vista Valid California Class C Driver's License Preferred Qualifications Experience with HCCS Software, Viewpoint Vista Advanced expertise in Primavera P6 History of successful project delivery in Northern California market Why Choose Us Competitive base salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package including: Premium medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with generous company match Year End Bonus Profit sharing program Generous PTO package Professional development opportunities Stable work environment with a growing company Culture that promotes work-life balance Physical Requirements Position requires occasional site visits with the ability to: Navigate construction sites safely Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods Operate standard office equipment Drive to project sites Equal Opportunity Employer We are an EEO/AA employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
