This is a full-time, in-person position that may require occasional travel to active project sites in both Northern and Southern California. Reporting directly to the Project Manager and company leadership, this role is responsible for supporting construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced construction environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and clients are essential for success in this role. The company is willing to provide employment sponsorship for qualified candidates. Key Responsibilities Assist Project Managers with daily construction management activities from pre-construction through project completion Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and material deliveries Prepare, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation Assist with project scheduling, progress tracking, and coordination of construction activities Attend project meetings, job walks, inspections, and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and city inspectors Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents Support permit applications, plan check corrections, and project closeout documentation Monitor project progress to help maintain project schedules and budgets Coordinate with field personnel to address construction issues and support daily operations Maintain organized project files, logs, reports, and correspondence Assist with procurement and long-lead material tracking Required Qualifications Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English (Required) Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree or coursework in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred Experience with commercial tenant improvement, public works, or residential construction projects Familiarity Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software Knowledge of permitting processes, inspections, and construction scheduling Internship or previous construction industry experience preferred Understanding of project coordination and document control processesCompensation & Benefits The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 . $65,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall skill set.
