Job Title:
Construction Project Manager Job Description We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the $22M MEP infrastructure upgrade at a large manufacturing facility in the South Bay Area. This role entails serving as the lead onsite Project Manager responsible for field coordination, client communication, project financials, schedule oversight, invoicing, subcontractor management, and overall project execution. The successful candidate will transition to another local project upon the completion of the current project. Responsibilities Coordinate field activities and manage project site operations. Communicate effectively with clients and manage project communications. Oversee project financials, including invoicing, billing, cash flow forecasting, and cost tracking. Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure timely project execution. Work closely with Superintendents and Project Engineer to meet project objectives. Ensure project completion safely, on schedule, and within budget. Essential Skills 10+ years of construction project management experience. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline preferred. Experience leading construction projects exceeding $10M. Strong understanding of MEP systems. Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, billing, and change management. Ability to manage subcontractors and client relationships. Experience in industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sectors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience delivering industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or complex commercial construction projects. Comfortable supporting highly engaged stakeholders. Experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure projects. Work Environment This is a 100% onsite role, requiring presence at the project site 4-5 days per week. The position is based in the local Bay Area with no relocation assistance or per diem provided. The team consists of 2 Superintendents and 1 Project Engineer, emphasizing a collaborative and dynamic project leadership environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Jose, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $184000.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
