Our team has built long standing relationships with nationally recognized brands by consistently delivering fast paced remodels, conversions, and ground up projects with a high level of execution and professionalism. We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead field operations on restaurant and retail projects throughout California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Texas, and surrounding markets. This role is ideal for a superintendent who thrives in fast moving environments, takes ownership in the field, and understands how to successfully deliver customer facing commercial projects with minimal disruption to operations.

Compensation & Benefits Pay:

$80,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience

Company paid lodging Weekly per diem Paid travel home every 3 weeks for extended duration projects Company provided cell phone and iPad Health insurance Paid time off and holidays Strong opportunity for advancement within a growing commercial GC Responsibilities Lead day to day field operations for restaurant and retail construction projects Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, deliveries, and project sequencing to maintain schedule performance Work directly with project managers, clients, inspectors, landlords, and store operations teams to ensure successful project execution Maintain jobsite safety, quality control, cleanliness, and professionalism at all times Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation to proactively identify and resolve issues Conduct subcontractor coordination and maintain accountability for schedule and workmanship Manage project closeout, punch lists, turnover documentation, and final inspections Provide strong communication and leadership across all phases of construction Qualifications Minimum 4 years of superintendent experience in commercial construction Restaurant, retail, grocery, hospitality, or fast paced remodel experience strongly preferred Ability to manage active jobsites with multiple trades and accelerated schedules Strong understanding of construction sequencing, inspections, and field coordination Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong communication and leadership skills Willingness to travel extensively throughout the western United States Valid driver's license and clean driving record Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following: Taco Bell, McDonalds, Chick-fil-A Quick service restaurant remodels or conversions Open store remodels Ground up commercial construction Why Superintendents Choose CDM Consistent pipeline of repeat client work Fast paced projects that keep work engaging High visibility with leadership and clients Opportunity to grow with an expanding commercial contractor Team environment focused on execution, accountability, and professionalism
