Plumbing Estimator / Project Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plumbing Estimator / Project Manager with experience in residential construction. This dual-role position is responsible for accurately estimating plumbing systems for new construction projects while managing awarded jobs from pre-construction through completion. The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline-driven, and experienced in high-volume production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating Duties:

• Prepare detailed and accurate plumbing estimates for residential residential developments
• Perform quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications
• Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to ensure complete bid coverage
• Utilize estimating software (including Bluebeam) to generate takeoffs and markups
• Solicit and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Identify value engineering opportunities to maintain competitive pricing Coordinate with builders and internal teams during the bid process

Project Management Duties:

• Manage multiple residential plumbing projects simultaneously
• Oversee job budgets, schedules, and cost controls
• Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules
• Serve as the main point of contact for builders, superintendents, and field crews
• Track project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and specifications
• Process change orders, RFIs, and submittals as needed
• Support field teams to resolve issues and maintain production flow
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and local code requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in plumbing estimating and/or project management
• Strong knowledge of residential residential construction and plumbing systems
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and other estimating/project management software
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Autodesk Forma, SupplyPro, Procore, and Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Experience working with production home builders
• Familiarity with California plumbing codes and regulations
• Background in high-volume residential construction environments

Compensation:

Competitive salary based on experience

Work Environment:

Office-based with regular interaction with field teams and job sites

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
