Annual Job Summary:
Seeking a Field Service Manager with experience leading alarm installation and service teams and coordinating contractors and AHJs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead, train, support, and motivate a team of professional alarm installation and service technicians Oversee scheduling, job assignments, and daily operations for installation and service projects Oversee management of warehouse and technician vehicle inventory Coordinate with contractors and authorities Supervise and schedule fleet maintenance Conduct staff performance reviews and support technician development Ensure compliance with safety standards and company service policies Coordinate on-call technician rotations and provide ongoing support Analyze department performance and recommend process improvements
Qualifications:
Experience in the alarm industry Eligible for or able to obtain an Alarm Company Employee (ACE) license (background check required) Maintain driving record to remain eligible for company auto insurance Proven management and team leadership skills Strong organizational skills; able to handle multiple priorities Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Google Workspace; Excel & Word) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Physically able to carry up to 40 pounds and safely use tools and ladders with reasonable accommodation Experience managing installation/service teams in security or related industries Familiarity with Sedona Office or similar scheduling software Experience with warehouse/inventory and fleet management Ability to analyze department performance data and recommend improvements Experience coordinating with contractors, AHJs, and obtaining fire alarm permits Background in conducting safety meetings and quality assurance site visits Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement
