This professional will be responsible for the oversight of capital design and construction projects of limited scope from concept, design, construction to D.S.A. close-out, ensuring project scope, schedule, budget and objectives are met, while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures, reporting responsibilities and all applicable regulations. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Examples of Essential Functions Assists with establishing a point of contact for engineering with General Contractor, Architects, Consultants, and Suppliers. Assists with the submission of technical drawings, and samples for client/Architect approvals. Attends, when asked, site meetings with owners and General Contractors. Coordinates with Project Manager(s) project Work Plan and schedule. Assists with the coordination and tracking of monthly progress payments, project change orders, and project estimating. Interfaces with Accounting for material requisition and contracting. Review/coordinate Contractor Daily Reports, IOR Daily Reports as related to site visits issue logs, progress photos, and construction meeting minutes. Assists with evaluating RFI's and maintaining logs. Assists with coordinating, delivery and installation of owner furnished equipment. Track project schedule and progress of the contractor and suppliers. Update contractor changes to the plans, specifications and/or schedule. Perform other duties, within the level of responsibility, as assigned. Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. Confers with project staff to outline work-plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required Prepares project reports for management, client, or others. Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems. Coordinates project activities with all regulatory agencies. Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary Range:
$120,000 - $145,000
Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
At least four years related experience in the management of design and construction projects, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a closely related field. Preferred Certifications / Registrations /
