Backyard Estates is a design-build ADU company based in Upland. We take homeowners from first site visit to final inspection and run multiple builds at once, all within 20 miles of Upland. We build about 50 ADUs a year and are building the team to reach 100 a year within the next 18 months. This role reports directly to the President.

Pay:

$100,000 to $120,000 base plus performance bonus. What you'll do

• Manage a portfolio of ADU jobs from contract through warranty
• Own budgets, change orders, and purchase orders in Buildertrend
• Be the homeowner's main point of contact and keep them informed
• Work with the superintendents to hold schedule and quality
• Catch cost and schedule problems early and fix them What we're looking for
• 5 to 10 years in residential construction, with at least 3 in project management
• Comfortable with budgets, job costing, and change orders
• Clear, confident communicator with homeowners and subs
• Experience with Buildertrend or similar software is a plus
• Time in the trades before moving into management is a specialty we value. Tell us what yours looks like.
