Job Description

Job Summary We are General Contractor who is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Front Desk/Bid Coordinator to support our estimating, project management, and business development teams. The Bid Coordinator is responsible for managing the bidding process from plan upload and documentation for bidding projects to sending out invitation to subcontractors for proposal submission, coordinating subcontractor and supplier pricing, maintaining bid documentation, and ensuring proposals are complete, accurate, and submitted on time. Prior bid coordination experience is required and would be helpful in this position. We are willing to train the right candidate in areas that they would need it and who has a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, time management and a desire to learn the construction industry. Pay depends on experience and will be talked about during interview
Hours:
Monday - Friday (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) Duties Coordinate all aspects of the bid process from beginning of uploading plans and sending out invitation to subcontractors and suppliers all the way through receiving bid/proposal submission. Review plans, specifications, addenda, and project documents that will need to uploaded in Building Connect. Track subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure complete bid coverage. Download and print bids from subcontractors and suppliers in efolder and physical folder. Monitor bid calendars and ensure all deadlines are met. Distribute plans, specifications, and addenda to subcontractors using Building Connect. Verify subcontractor licenses, insurance, and prequalification requirements. Create and Maintain accurate bid files with Job # for each project bidding. Maintain confidentiality of all bid information. Making phone calls to invited subcontractors and suppliers (not just sending emails) Help with all different departments in office Be a team player while being able to work independently. Able to come into the office on time and everyday Monday - Friday. Pay:
$16.90 - $25.00 per hour
