Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel to ensure project objectives are met. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop project schedules and budgets. Utilize construction management software, including ProCore and Primavera P6, for project tracking and reporting. Review contracts and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to safety regulations (OSHA). Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution. Manage subcontractors and coordinate their activities on-site. Implement quality control measures to ensure work meets specifications. Prepare reports on project status, including scheduling updates and budget forecasts. Facilitate communication between various teams involved in the project pipeline. Skills Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, AutoDesk, Adobe. Strong understanding of construction management principles including budgeting, estimating, and scheduling. Extensive experience in reading blueprints and schematics. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards on construction sites. Proven ability in quality control processes within the construction industry. Excellent supervisory skills with experience managing teams effectively. Strong analytical skills for problem-solving related to project execution. Familiarity with construction estimating techniques is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams while maintaining focus on project goals.
