Commercial Construction Superintendent

Commercial Construction Superintendent Growling Bear Co., Inc. - Greeley, CO Growling Bear Co., Inc., a commercial building general contractor based in Greeley, Colorado, is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to manage and lead projects with hard costs up to $5 million. The majority of our work is for government clients, including Federal, State, City, County, and School District entities, with projects located throughout Colorado and southern Wyoming (Colorado Springs, CO to Casper, WY). Position Overview The Superintendent will be responsible for on-site management of commercial construction projects including additions, remodels, renovations, and new construction, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with contract documents. Key Responsibilities

• Provide full on-site supervision and coordination of commercial construction projects
• Manage daily field operations, subcontractors, and self-performed work
• Enforce project schedules, safety requirements, and quality control standards
• Coordinate inspections and interfaces with owners, architects/engineers, and government representatives
• Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and project documentation
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications, and regulations Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a superintendent on commercial construction projects
• Proven experience with additions, remodels, and new construction
• Experience managing projects with hard costs up to $5 million
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules Preferred Qualifications
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training
• LEED project experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project for scheduling
• Experience working with government clients (Federal, State, or Local) Compensation
