The Supervisor serves as the primary on‑site customer contact and is responsible for safety leadership, crew performance, daily reporting, and administrative tasks such as JSAs, scheduling support, and accurate timekeeping.
Safety & Leadership:
Own crew safety from shop to jobsite; enforce company EHS standards; stop work when necessary.
Project Execution:
Lead on‑site rig‑ups, repairs, installations, and removals; ensure work meets manufacturer SOPs and quality expectations (no leaks; aesthetically acceptable).
Equipment & Compliance:
Operate and troubleshoot field equipment (telehandler, aerial lifts, skidsteer, backhoe); ensure trailers and loads comply with DOT regulations; maintain company vehicles.
EHS Equipment Management:
Maintain certification and condition of harnesses, rigging, and other safety gear.
Crew Management & Development:
Set clear expectations, hold team members accountable, identify talent, and develop future supervisors.
Administration & Reporting:
Complete JSAs and required forms in KPA and Samsara; ensure accurate daily time entries and shift planning.
Customer & Stakeholder Communication:
Act as on‑site point of contact; report asset repair, maintenance, and performance issues to operations management.
Travel & Support:
Support local and outlying basin projects; travel required unless otherwise negotiated. Non‑Negotiable Requirements Pass pre‑employment drug and alcohol screening. Valid driver's license and insurability for company vehicles. Willingness to travel for projects. Proven supervisory experience managing crews or multiple crews. Provide multiple professional references from current or prior supervisors/managers.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience Required:
Several years of supervisory or management experience in tank/storage operations or closely related field work.
Preferred:
Hands‑on leader who can perform and train others on deploying, fabricating, and picking up environmental containment systems.
Skills:
Strong safety mindset, equipment operation and troubleshooting, knowledge of DOT transport rules, experience with KPA and Samsara or similar reporting/timekeeping systems.
Attributes:
Self‑motivated, high standards for quality and performance, strong communicator, decisive under pressure.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Environment:
Outdoor field work; exposure to inclement weather and winter conditions.
Physical:
Ability to perform hands‑on tasks, lift and move equipment as required, and work at heights when necessary.
Travel:
Regular travel to project sites, including outlying basins.
