Job Summary:
The Associate Project Manager will support the successful completion of the assigned project while adhering to the company profitability guidelines and contractual requirements. This position will assist in the planning, organizing, and coordinating of Fire Protection/ Detection Systems, as well as SeCom Systems. This role covers all aspects within contracts, working closely with senior team members. Pay Range:
$70,000 - $88,000 Key Responsibilities:
Assist in coordinating and supporting multiple projects. Collaborate with senior team members to review and monitor operation budget spending, labor and material efficiency, and customer service. Assist in reviewing performance against operating plans and standards. Work closely with various departments withing the branch to fulfill project responsibility. Collaborate with subcontractors to resolve issues and disputes. Familiarize yourself with the project management tools and software. Attend mandatory company meetings. Other duties as assigned. What We Are Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent Bachelor's degree in project management or related field, preferred. NICET or Manufacturer training preferred. Valid State-Issued Driver's License. One year of Project Manager experience in fire protection or related construction field is desired but not required. Basic understanding of current codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IFC, etc.) Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written Willingness to learn and adapt Strong problem-solving skills Basic budget management knowledge Basic policy knowledge Conflict management skills Scheduling skills and Milestone management Reporting skills Physical Requirements:
This role is largely office based but will include project site visits as needed Must be able to sit for long periods of time Must be able to effectively use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines Must be able to perform some repetitive motions while using a computer While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear.
