TIMES & DAYS

• Hours Monday
• Friday. This includes a split shift working in the morning from 6:15am
• 8:15am and in the afternoon from 3:00pm
• 6:00pm, with time in the middle of the day for planning and administrative tasks.

Make every part of the day count. We're looking for a Full-Time Out of School Time Site Supervisor to lead our program right in the school setting .

This split-shift role includes:

Before & after school programming Midday administrative and planning time Leading staff and creating engaging, inclusive activities You'll play a key role in helping students feel safe, supported, and inspired every day.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Regional School Age Program Director, the Supervisor, OST is responsible for the daily program operations including, program development and implementation, staff supervision, facility usage and parent relations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Implement risk management to provide safety and well-being of all children Integrate YMCA character development program into daily programming Support parental communications and staff with appropriate interactions with children, including discipline procedures Proactively clean and/or repair program areas; maintain supplies and equipment Attend all training courses, staff meetings and in-services without exception Support pre-camp staff training program and on-going in-service training for camp and OST staff Be familiar with the mission statement and core values of the YMCA. Model the core values while working and communicating with other staff members Be knowledgeable and supportive of the YMCA Annual Support Campaign, and general procedures and policies, including personnel guidelines, facility access procedures, membership policies, and emergency plans

QUALIFICAITONS

Minimum of 21 years of age High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred 3+ years of relevant experience preferably in a YMCA or other nonprofit agency Possess a positive and professional attitude Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays CPR/AED and First Aid certification required. If not certified must achieve with 30 days of hire
