Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, ensuring that construction activities are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong project management skills, leadership abilities, and a thorough understanding of residential building processes. Duties Oversee and coordinate all phases of residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines. Manage on-site construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and supervision of subcontractors and construction crews. Monitor progress regularly to identify potential delays or issues and implement corrective actions promptly. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment for all personnel on site. Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and vendors to facilitate smooth project execution. Review and approve project documentation such as plans, change orders, and progress reports. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met throughout the construction process. Manage procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project completion. Maintain accurate records of project activities, costs, and schedules for reporting purposes. Experience Proven experience in residential construction management or as a superintendent in similar roles. Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate diverse teams and stakeholders effectively. Knowledge of construction safety protocols, building codes, and regulations relevant to residential projects. Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with construction management software and tools is preferred.
