Berlin, Connecticut job type: Contract salary: $60 - 70 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Conduct constructability and site feasibility reviews for transmission and substation capital projects, evaluating access, workspace, and outage constraints during early development. Manage contract field construction activities, setting safety expectations and ensuring full compliance with engineering practices, standards, and regulatory requirements. Track and report project metrics, providing management with regular updates on project progress, costs, schedules, material delivery, and risk mitigation. Review project design, material requirements, and construction documents to resolve field practicality concerns and ensure schedule adherence. Oversee field operations and safety, including reviewing Job Hazard Analyses, approving written switching instructions, and coordinating testing and commissioning.
