The Role You'll work directly alongside the owner to coordinate projects and manage the proposal process from pre-construction through execution. This is an office-based position that combines proposal development, subcontractor coordination, permits, scheduling, and project administration. This role does not involve day-to-day field supervision, jobsite management, or managing construction activities in the field. Responsibilities Proposal Development (40%) When it is time to prepare a proposal for a client, you will be responsible for coordinating the process from beginning to end. This includes gathering and organizing pricing and scope information from subcontractors and vendors, reviewing proposals against project drawings, organizing supporting documentation, and assembling detailed client proposals. Final proposals are reviewed by the owner prior to being presented to the client. Review and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Solicit and coordinate subcontractor and vendor pricing Review subcontractor proposals for scope completeness and alignment with project drawings Follow up on omissions, exclusions, discrepancies, and missing information Prepare detailed project proposals and supporting documentation for owner review Project Coordination (60%) Coordinate permits, inspections, and project documentation Assist with subcontractor scheduling and project logistics Communicate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors Maintain organized project records and follow-up activities Support day-to-day office and project operations Qualifications Residential remodeling experience required Strong blueprint reading skills and understanding of residential construction Ability to review plans, subcontractor proposals, and project scope for completeness and accuracy Experience preparing detailed project proposals and supporting documentation Highly organized with excellent follow-through Strong communication and problem-solving skills Commitment to upside management—anticipating issues, identifying gaps, and proactively solving problems Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$100,000 based on experience Simple IRA with company match Profit sharing eligibility after one year Paid time off and holidays Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM No weekend work or after-hours expectations Professional, collaborative work environment Long-term growth opportunity within a stable, established company
Location:
