Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations and drive project success from the ground up. This role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will serve as the on-site leader, coordinating all trades, managing subcontractors, and acting as the key point of execution for project teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Site Leadership:
Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring alignment with plans, specifications, and schedules
Safety Management:
Enforce OSHA standards and company safety protocols; lead a strong safety culture on-site
Team Coordination:
Direct subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure efficiency and accountability
Schedule & Budget Execution:
Track progress and proactively adjust to maintain timelines and financial targets
Quality Assurance:
Conduct inspections to ensure all work meets industry and client standards
Stakeholder Communication:
Provide clear updates to project managers, clients, and leadership
Problem Resolution:
Identify and resolve issues quickly to prevent delays
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain daily logs, RFIs, change orders, and compliance records Qualifications Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects Experience with healthcare, manufacturing, clean rooms, semiconductor, or biopharma projects strongly preferred Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and site coordination Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Proven leadership skills managing subcontractors and field teams Experience with RFIs, change orders, and project documentation Familiarity with Procore, Sage, Bluebeam, or similar tools OSHA certification preferred; PMP is a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Ongoing training and career advancement opportunities Work on technically advanced, high-visibility projects Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Wilton, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $180000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
