About MRP Realty MRP Realty is a Washington, DC-based commercial real estate firm with an active portfolio of office, mixed-use, and residential assets across the DMV. We are a collaborative, tight-knit team that moves quickly and holds ourselves to a high standard, on our projects and in how we work together. The Role We are looking for a Construction Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of office tenant improvements, capital projects, and interior build-outs across MRP's portfolio. This is an owner-side role with direct accountability. You will manage projects end-to-end, serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, architects, and contractors, and represent MRP's interests from design through final closeout. This is a fully in-person position based in the Washington, DC Metro Area. What You'll Do Manage design, permitting, and construction execution of tenant improvements and capital projects across multiple assets Monitor construction progress for compliance with contract documents, design intent, and quality standards Review and track project schedules, budgets, and cost reports; identify risks and adjust plans proactively Coordinate contractor activities, conduct site inspections, and maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders Prepare and manage RFPs for architects, consultants, and contractors; oversee bid leveling and award recommendations Review and process contractor pay applications; support cost tracking and reporting Manage project closeout including punch list, as-built drawings, warranties, and final documentation Serve as the primary liaison between MRP, tenants, architects, consultants, and contractors What We're Looking For 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction management Hands-on experience with office tenant improvements or interior build-outs strongly preferred Background with a commercial general contractor or owner-side organization Solid command of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project closeout processes Strong communicator, comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and delivering difficult messages when needed Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management and scheduling software
Pay:
$110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
