This role is responsible for preparing project estimates, evaluating subcontractor proposals, and assisting project teams in developing budgets and procurement strategies. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates and budgets for multifamily construction projects. Analyze construction drawings and specifications to develop accurate cost projections. Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor bids. Assist with value engineering efforts to maintain project budgets. Collaborate with project management and operations teams during project planning. Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers in the DMV market. Participate in bid reviews, scope analysis, and procurement planning. Assist in developing cost models and conceptual budgets during design development. Qualifications 5-10 years of experience in estimating or preconstruction with a general contractor. Experience estimating multifamily construction projects. Familiarity with subcontractor markets within the DMV region. Strong knowledge of construction drawings and specifications. Proficiency with estimating software and Excel.
