Construction Project Manager/Forema

Position Overview The Professionals Services LLC is seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Manager to oversee residential and commercial construction projects in and around Wilmington, Delaware. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring quality workmanship, adherence to budgets, and timely delivery.

THIS IS A WORKING POSITION.

Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of construction projects including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and safety regulations Review blueprints, specifications, and project plans to ensure accuracy and feasibility Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports Manage project budgets, track expenses, and approve invoices Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and safety standards are met Communicate effectively with clients, inspectors, and internal teams Oversee permitting and inspections with New Castle County and City of Wilmington Resolve project issues, delays, and conflicts in a timely and professional manner Qualifications Minimum 10+ years of experience in construction management or general contracting Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction processes Familiarity with Delaware building codes and permitting processes Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office OSHA certification preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation a must
