Job Title:
Superintendent of Construction Job Description As a Superintendent of Construction, you will plan, execute, and oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed within deadlines and budget constraints. You will play a crucial role in scheduling, construction management, and maintaining compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities Plan, execute, and oversee construction projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and budget constraints. Create and manage project timelines, coordinating with various teams for timely completion. Supervise construction processes, materials, and methods to ensure compliance with project specifications. Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to guide construction activities. Ensure adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards to maintain a safe work environment. Monitor construction work to ensure it meets required standards and specifications. Utilize technical software such as AutoCAD, Procore, Bluebeam, BIM (Building Information Modeling), and MS Project for project management and documentation. Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. Essential Skills Experience as a Superintendent in Construction, particularly in Ground Up Construction. Knowledge of Underground Utilities. Proficient in using Procore. Additional Skills & Qualifications Effective verbal and written communication skills with team members, clients, and stakeholders. Leadership skills to lead and motivate construction teams to achieve project goals. Strong problem-solving abilities to quickly identify and resolve issues. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all aspects of the construction process. Excellent time management skills to balance multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to make informed decisions that positively impact the project. Work Environment Work primarily takes place on commercial construction sites, within a collaborative and supportive environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
