Construction Project Superintendent

Overview We are seeking an Entry Level Construction Project Superintendent with some experience to lead and oversee residential construction projects from inception to completion in the Hernando and Pasco County Florida Areas. This pivotal role requires a proactive leader who can coordinate vendors and suppliers, ensure safety compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong developing background in construction management, excellent supervisory skills, and a passion for maintaining high standards of quality and safety on-site. Responsibilities Lead daily operations on construction sites, supervising subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to ensure project milestones are met efficiently. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Buildertrend construction management software, ensuring alignment with project timelines. Oversee safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to promote a culture of safety. Manage project budgets by monitoring costs, reviewing contracts, and coordinating with the project team to prevent overruns. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications. Conduct quality control inspections, ensuring all work meets industry standards and client expectations; address issues promptly. Maintain documentation including daily reports, incident logs, change orders, and progress photos using construction site management software. Coordinate project activities with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth communication and project progression. Experience Management experience supervising resitential construction projects with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence. On-site residential construction experience. Some knowledge of construction management software such as Buildertrend. Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and managing subcontractors effectively. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and best practices for construction site safety compliance. Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
