Company Overview:
Tiello has partnered with a well-established commercial masonry contractor with a strong footprint across the Southeast. This organization is known for executing complex masonry scopes on high-profile commercial projects and for developing talent from within. They are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support active and upcoming projects throughout Florida and to grow into a long-term leadership role within the organization.
Role Summary:
The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Management team in the execution of commercial masonry projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a foundational understanding of construction who is eager to grow their project management skill set while gaining hands-on exposure to field operations, scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination.

Job Responsibilities:
Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project execution and administrative tasks. Support budgeting, cost tracking, and change order preparation. Coordinate submittals, RFIs, material procurement, and document control. Assist with project scheduling and progress tracking. Communicate with field teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure scope alignment. Attend project meetings and assist with meeting minutes and follow-ups. Help maintain project documentation, logs, and reporting. Support closeout activities including punch lists, as-builts, and turnover documents.
Qualifications/Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in construction project coordination or project management. Commercial masonry or subcontractor experience strongly preferred (or exposure to). Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, Excel preferred). Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Willingness to travel locally within Central Florida as needed. Ability to pass background check and drug screen. Eligibility to work in the U.
