Job Description:
Project Executive
  • Commercial Electrical Construction
  • Miami, FL A Project Executive is responsible for overseeing multiple large-scale projects and providing direct leadership to project managers.
This role collaborates closely with the Estimating team during the preconstruction phase and works alongside the Preconstruction Department to engage with owners, architects/engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to address constructability and value engineering considerations during negotiations and contract execution. The Project Executive ensures all responsibilities are carried out in alignment with company values, policies, and standards, while delivering projects that meet client expectations for safety, quality, and profitability.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing owner contracts to ensure compliance Managing the development of master project schedules and quality control programs Identifying critical issues and key milestones Reviewing and approving budgets and project scopes with the Preconstruction Department Anticipating and forecasting potential cost impacts Ensuring safety is fully integrated into planning and execution Overseeing the development of GMP or lump sum contracts Evaluating subcontractors' financial capability to perform Leading weekly and monthly job cost reviews Developing look-ahead schedules Overseeing the project's quality control program
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred Minimum of 10 years of experience with an electrical subcontractor in a management role Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Strong communication and interpersonal skills Advanced understanding of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality management, and construction documentation If this role is of interest please reach out to kieran.hitchen@gryphonoakwood.com for a confidential call or apply directly via the link above.
