Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive vehicle performance and customer satisfaction to new heights! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and enthusiasm. Your mechanical skills will ensure each vehicle leaves our shop in optimal condition, providing safe and reliable transportation for our valued customers. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and powertrains, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications. Service vehicles through oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, and tire service to maintain peak performance. Repair and replace auto body components and welding as needed to restore vehicle integrity and appearance. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts with precision. Diagnose complex issues involving ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and diesel engines using specialized automotive diagnostics equipment. Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers about repairs needed and performed, ensuring excellent customer service experience. Experience Proven mechanic experience in a dealership or automotive repair shop environment with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred; experience with auto estimating software is a plus. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, Schematics interpretation, and automotive electrical repair techniques. Hands-on experience working with ADAS technology, air brake systems, transmissions, suspension components, shocks & struts. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance machinery for various repair tasks. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently.
