Position Overview The Project Manager provides overall leadership and accountability for commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a hands-on, results-driven leader who enjoys managing diverse, fast-paced projects and collaborating closely with executives to align with strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Estimating during the preconstruction phase Interpret construction plans and specifications accurately Lead projects from start to finish, driving schedule, budget, and quality Mentor and guide junior project management staff Build and maintain relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to support repeat work and future opportunities Oversee subcontractor and vendor procurement, including buyout, scope review, contract writing, and insurance/bonding compliance Resolve drawing conflicts and provide constructible solutions Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, owner billings, timesheets, and monthly project reports Ensure timely and accurate owner billings and subcontractor payments Prepare monthly cost projections and forecasts Oversee project schedules and provide consistent progress updates Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects Strong understanding of building systems and construction methods Proven ability to manage projects independently from award through closeout Financially savvy with strong cost control and forecasting skills A proactive leader who can hit the ground running Compensation & Benefits Competitive, industry-leading salary Lucrative bonus program 401(k) with company match Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Health savings account (HSA) Life insurance Paid time off Supportive company culture with a strong emphasis on work-life balance Our client is ready to hire immediately!
