Role Overview:
Coordinator Permits (2025-1061) Role Overview The Permits Coordinator ensures compliance with local building department requirements to allow smooth and timely installation of our products. This role thrives in fast-paced environments, involves working closely with people, and focuses on process building and administrative functions. What You Bring 2+ years of experience in the trades industry, preferably managing permits and/or rebates. Experience working with municipalities and familiarity with electric, plumbing, and/or building codes. ServiceTitan experience preferred. Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High integrity and advanced social skills; ability to build strong connections. Competitive individual contributor who thrives in a team environment. Quick and sound decision-making abilities. Motivated to continuously improve and excel at your role. Personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment. Key Responsibilities File, schedule, and close all job-related permits for installation and service work. Schedule pre- and post-site inspections with customers and municipalities. Manage and coordinate utility shut-offs and inspections from utility companies, third-party agencies, or municipalities. Collaborate with Install Coordinators, Frontline Managers, and Dispatch to ensure all town requirements are completed. Support conversion jobs by maintaining accurate paperwork. Manage the renewal of all required local and state licenses. Compile weekly and monthly permit reports, including opened, closed, and failed inspections. Maintain and update master permit requirement documents for each township. Develop and manage accurate permitting procedures. Oversee customer product and rebate processing; ensure rebate packets are mailed and serve as liaison for rebate inquiries. Manage equipment registration in CRM systems and with manufacturers.
