Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Traveling Construction Superintendent and lead the charge on construction projects across multiple locations. In this energetic role, you will oversee daily operations on-site, coordinate with project teams, and ensure that construction activities adhere to safety standards, project schedules, and quality expectations. Your leadership will drive project success from inception to completion, fostering collaboration and excellence at every site. This position offers the exciting opportunity to travel extensively, manage diverse teams, and make a tangible impact on high-profile construction initiatives. Duties Supervise and coordinate all construction activities across multiple job sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to specifications. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and problem-solving. Review blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to verify accuracy and guide onsite execution. Implement and monitor safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections. Manage project scheduling Ensure quality control by inspecting work for adherence to plans, specifications, and industry standards. Maintain comprehensive documentation of daily activities, safety incidents, change orders, and progress reports. Lead supervising teams on-site; motivate personnel while managing performance and resolving conflicts efficiently. Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising multiple sites while traveling extensively. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Strong understanding of contracts management, project scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance processes. Prior construction site experience with a focus on safety compliance under OSHA regulations. Management experience supervising diverse teams of tradespeople and subcontractors in fast-paced environments.
