Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced MEP / Unit Superintendent to support a multi-building residential project in South Miami-Dade. This role is critical in driving MEP coordination, unit readiness, and turnover across a phased, large-scale site.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead MEP coordination and unit sequencing from rough-in through turnover Coordinate all systems: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire protection, low-voltage, and life safety with interior finishes Drive above-ceiling readiness, inspections, testing, commissioning, and documentation Track unit progress, identify blockers early, and ensure milestone delivery dates are met Collaborate with PMs, consultants, and trade foremen to resolve field issues and coordination gaps
Qualifications:
Strong field experience in MEP coordination and unit turnover on vertical construction projects Solid understanding of system startup, testing, commissioning, and closeout processes Ability to read plans, manage punch lists, and enforce subcontractor accountability Experience with multifamily, condo, mixed-use, or hospitality projects preferred Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools Florida experience preferred; bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
Pay:
$115,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
