We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception through completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and blueprint reading will drive project success while maintaining safety and quality standards. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and specifications Coordinate project activities across multiple teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to monitor progress and address potential delays proactively Review blueprints, schematics, contracts, and construction documents to ensure clarity and compliance with design intent Manage project budgets through accurate construction estimating and HeavyBid analysis, optimizing resources for cost efficiency Oversee site safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations Utilize tools like ProCore and Bluebeam for document management, RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders, and progress tracking Manage federal construction projects from start to finish Ensure compliance with
USACE, EM 385-1-1
Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors Handle RFIs, submittals, and change orders Drive project performance and profitability Requirements 5+ years of federal project management experience USACE or NAVFAC experienceREQUIRED
Marine or heavy civil experience preferred Strong contract and compliance knowledge Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in civil or heavy civil projects; site experience is essential Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam Solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and construction estimating processes Familiarity with industry-standard software, including Civil 3D for design coordination and HeavyBid for cost estimation Excellent project coordination skills with a focus on time management and resource allocation Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and technical drawings accurately Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Join us as a Construction Project Manager to lead impactful projects that shape communities!
