Veteran Preferred Position Overview:
The On-Site Construction Superintendent will be responsible for managing and supervising all on-site day-to-day activities related to drywall and painting subcontracting for multi-family residential projects. This role requires a direct approach, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards. Manage sub-subcontractors and labor force, providing direction and support to ensure efficient workflow and productivity. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols. Communicate with project managers, clients, architects, and other stakeholders to address any issues or changes in project scope. Schedule and coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment, ensuring timely availability for ongoing work. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily field logs, progress reports, and safety records. Identify and resolve any on-site challenges or conflicts that may arise during construction. Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
