Role Overview The Project Site Manager serves as Mitsubishi Power's full-time lead representative at assigned project sites, reporting to Project Management and Construction/Commissioning leadership. This role is responsible for ensuring site safety, protecting Mitsubishi Power-supplied equipment, supporting effective execution of the turbine supply scope, and serving as the first line of defense against EPC claims, schedule delays, and liquidated damages exposure. The Site Manager leads Technical Field Advisors (TFAs) and coordinates closely with EPCs, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and contract-aligned site execution. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all applicable safety rules and regulations for Mitsubishi Power personnel, contractors, and vendors. Serve as the primary onsite representative protecting Mitsubishi Power equipment, scope, and contractual interests. Identify, document, and manage potential EPC claims related to Mitsubishi Power scope of supply. Lead resolution of Mitsubishi Power equipment supply issues including OS&D, installation, and commissioning matters. Support Technical Field Advisors (TFAs) by coordinating timely responses to technical inquiries and RFIs. Supervise TFA site personnel to ensure adherence to safety programs and proper execution of duties. Provide technical assistance to installers and safeguard equipment from improper installation or operation. Monitor EPC performance related to turbine supply agreement responsibilities and report issues to project leadership. Review and manage extra work authorizations and back charges within approved financial authority. Coordinate and oversee Mitsubishi Power subcontractor activities and site visitors. Manage TFA site administration including timesheets, mobilization, demobilization, coverage planning, and site access. Ensure proper documentation and reporting through SharePoint, SAR, and PAR systems. Coordinate daily and weekly planning meetings with EPC supervision and site teams. Monitor EPC compliance with safety programs, installation quality, LOTO procedures, and approved drawings and plans. Support dispute resolution between EPC and TFA teams and escalate issues as required. Compile daily and weekly site reports, progress updates, milestone tracking, and final documentation turnover. Manage site purchasing authority for approved expenses and communicate purchases to Project Management. Forecast site resource, tooling, and equipment needs to support EPC schedules. Capture and communicate lessons learned for dissemination across other projects. Demonstrate strong communication with internal teams, EPCs, owners, suppliers, and stakeholders Requirements Demonstrated experience serving as a site lead or manager on power generation or turbine installation projects. Thorough understanding of turbine supply agreements, scope of supply, and division of responsibility. Strong knowledge of gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and associated balance-of-plant equipment. Proven ability to manage EPC interfaces, claims documentation, and site execution risks. Strong leadership and communication skills across internal teams, EPCs, owners, and suppliers. Proficiency with SharePoint workflows, SAR/PAR systems, and site documentation processes. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to travel and remain onsite for extended project durations as required. Why Should You Apply?
