Mann Wireless is a well-established company that specializes in DAS and public safety in-building communications systems (we make cell phones and emergency responder radios work in buildings). To learn more, visit www. mannwireless.com. We have a need for a versatile Lead Technician in the Tampa market. Candidates should be prepared to commute to the Largo, FL office as needed and at least once or twice a week, as well as travel weekly throughout the state of FL. Mann Wireless is a small company. The Lead Technician provides onsite project direction and leadership for Mann Wireless technicians and subcontractors. Responsibilities include leading field teams, managing project scope of work, timelines, materials, budget, and quality. Managing jobsite safety and other compliance requirements. Ensuring compliance with customer requirements. The Lead Technician provides status updates to Project Managers and customers and completes project-related documentation. Provides training and mentoring to field teams. This is a working supervisor role. Installation of low-voltage systems, including cabling, is a required part of this position as well as an understanding of RF fundamentals. Requirements 2+ years of experience is preferred Experience leading construction projects and field teams Experience managing subcontractors Low voltage experience (cabling and testing familiarity) Experience in technical field service and/or with RF Experience with DAS systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Desire to be a working supervisor Ability to travel throughout the state overnight Ability to travel outside of the state on occasion Ability to lift 80 lbs unassisted, to work at heights on ladders, to walk, bend, lift, and climb throughout the day Within commuting distance of the Largo, FL office/warehouse Comfortable with the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word) Education- High school or equivalent (Required) AAS or AS in an Engineering or Technology field desired OR related military experience License or Certification
