Construction Superintendent Location:

Short Description:
The Construction Superintendent oversees all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. This role coordinates subcontractors, manages daily operations, enforces safety compliance, and serves as the key point of contact between field teams and project stakeholders.

In this role, you will: Review AIA applications for accuracy, Assist AP with liens, NTOs, and 1099 reporting Review and record revenue and cost of sales from home closings Prepare, verify, and post journal entries into the general ledger Manage and reconcile credit card transactions and employee expense reimbursements for accuracy and appropriate documentation Review job costs for budget variances, cost code errors, and posting errors Perform full-cycle accounting; monthly close procedures and journal entries Audit closing summaries for title companies and record proceeds and loan transactions Reconcile customer deposits between Sales and financial database. Develop, analyze, and interpret accounting information to assess results accurately Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper coding of transactions Analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts Support management with variance analysis, ad hoc reporting, and financial insights Assist in preparing schedules and documentation for Internal and external audits Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
Highschool diploma or equivalent 10 hour OSHA certification Valid FL drivers license and active vehicle insurance 2+ years of residential home building management experience At least 6 months of Assistant Superintendent level experience
Skills Knowledge and Abilities:
Management, people and team building skills. Track record of results working with and coaching vendors. Knowledge of building codes, municipal codes, permitting and regulations, construction management, construction-related software (BuildPro). Ability to read blueprints. Ability to write and communicate effectively (listening, verbal and written), make correct decisions and delegate work effectively. Professional communication and strong customer service skills. Knowledge of residential construction. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook). Our future is better together. Apply now and join us!
