Position Overview Dade Electric Service is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects throughout South Florida. The Project Manager will manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, materials, and client communication while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities Manage electrical construction projects from pre-construction through completion Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets Coordinate with engineers, general contractors, architects, and inspectors Oversee procurement of materials and equipment Manage subcontractors, field supervisors, and installation crews Monitor project costs, change orders, and job profitability Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and applicable codes Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting Conduct project meetings and provide updates to company leadership Ensure jobsite safety standards and company safety policies are followed Qualifications 5+ years of electrical construction project management experience Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and blueprints Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Proficiency with construction management and scheduling software Experience with Bluebeam or similar construction document management software Experience working on municipal infrastructure or a wastewater treatment plant projects Experience in commercial, institutional, or industrial electrical construction Knowledge of medium-voltage systems and low-voltage systems An electrical license or a construction management certification is a plus Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package and strong employee benefits, including: Company-paid healthcare Company-paid Medicare taxes Dental and vision coverage 401(k) retirement plan Gas and travel reimbursement Professional and stable work environment Long-term career opportunities with an established South Florida contractor At Dade Electric Service, we are committed to safety, quality, and long-term partnerships, and we are looking for professionals who share our dedication to excellence.
