Position For our company TH3 Standard (a consulting firm specialized in Local Architect services, Project Management, and Construction Administration dedicated to the Retail sector, operating internationally), we are looking for a Construction Project Manager - Design & Quality Assurance to join our team. Main Responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager with strong design-review and field-verification capabilities. This role is responsible for ensuring that every construction project is executed with full alignment to the approved design documents, brand standards, and technical specifications. The candidate will act as the "design guardian" on site—verifying accuracy, identifying deviations, resolving discrepancies, and supporting the Project Manager in keeping the project fully on track. This position requires frequent travel (2-3 days per week) across the United States, conducting site visits, coordinating with General Contractors, and producing clear and detailed field reports. The resource will perform the following tasks: 1. Construction Accuracy & Design Compliance Review architectural, structural, MEP, and shop drawings for accuracy and alignment with project design intent. Perform on-site verification to ensure construction activities follow approved plans, details, and specifications. Identify discrepancies or potential conflicts early and escalate with actionable recommendations. Work closely with designers, engineers, and vendors to clarify details and maintain design fidelity.> 2. Field Supervision & Reporting Conduct regular site visits across multiple states/provinces on a daily or weekly basis. Document field conditions, progress, issues, and risks through detailed written reports and photographic documentation. Monitor quality of workmanship, material installation, and compliance with project standards. Maintain continuous communication with the Project Manager regarding status, risks, and corrective actions. 3. Project Coordination & Schedule Support Assist the Project Manager in keeping the overall project on schedule and within scope. Track milestones, deadlines, and potential delays arising from design or field-related issues. Work with the GC and subcontractors to resolve on-site conflicts efficiently. Participate in project calls, construction meetings, and internal coordination sessions. 4. Permit & Inspection Management Track all permit submissions, approvals, expirations, inspections, and regulatory requirements. Support the General Contractor during inspections by ensuring readiness, documentation, and compliance. Maintain updated records of inspections, correction notices, closeout documents, and occupancy certificates. 5. Documentation & Communication Ensure all construction documentation—RFI logs, submittals, ASIs, and change directives—are properly updated and communicated. Produce accurate, timely reports using company templates and project management platforms. Maintain an organized digital archive of drawings, correspondence, and field data.
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in construction project management or site supervision (retail, commercial, or hospitality strongly preferred). Strong understanding of architectural drawings, details, finish schedules, and MEP coordination. Ability to identify design issues and propose quick, feasible solutions on site. Excellent communication and technical writing skills for field reporting. Strong organizational with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability and willingness to travel daily across US (50-70% of the time). Proficiency with project management software (Wrike, Autodesk, etc.) is a plus.
