Gables Construction Group Site Supervisor Construction Site Supervisor Job Responsibilities:

Construction supervisors are in charge of overseeing and ensuring the safety of our projects. They create an efficient and safe workplace, including materials and personnel, whilst also planning, organizing, and controlling projects. They supervise teams of subcontractors, architects and engineers, depending on the size of the project.

• Maintains project administration in a correct and timely manner.
• Able to communicate with Subcontractors to assure the timeliness of materials ordered and equipment
• Makes sure the necessary permits are in place and have been pulled
• Assesses safety goals and keeps track of safety meetings
• At times, manages sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting contractors.
• Meets operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews.
• Meets construction budget by monitoring project expenditures.
• Accomplishes construction project results by defining project purpose and scope.
• Prevents fines and work interruptions by complying with rules and regulations.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures.

Construction Supervisor Qualifications and Skills:

• Custom home building experience
• Ability to lead a crew construction and manage a project
• Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage projects with urgent set deadlines
• Great time management and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to read construction plans

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years' experience working in the construction field
• A valid driver's license from state of residence is required
• Bi-lingual (English & Spanish)
• Residential High End a

$65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
