This role is vital in ensuring that plumbing systems are installed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive management style, extensive construction site experience, and a thorough understanding of plumbing systems, blueprints, and construction management software. As a Plumbing Superintendent, you will coordinate teams, manage schedules, monitor safety protocols, and ensure project milestones are met with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities Lead and supervise plumbing crews on active construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements accurately. Develop detailed project schedules using construction scheduling tools to coordinate plumbing activities. Manage procurement of plumbing materials and labor costs while maintaining strict adherence to project budgets. Oversee quality control measures by inspecting work for compliance with codes, standards, and client expectations. Enforce OSHA safety regulations and conduct regular safety meetings to promote a culture of safety awareness among team members. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors using ProCore to track progress and resolve issues promptly. Supervise subcontractors and vendors; review contracts to ensure scope of work aligns with project goals. Conduct site inspections regularly to monitor progress, identify potential issues early, and implement corrective actions as needed. Maintain comprehensive documentation including daily reports, incident logs, and quality assurance records throughout the project lifecycle. Experience Proven management experience as a Plumbing Superintendent or similar leadership role within large-scale construction projects. Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of plumbing installation processes across commercial or industrial projects. . Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and field application. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment on active sites. Supervising experience with a focus on quality control and adherence to technical specifications. Excellent management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
