Job Description

Job Overview Our company is growing quickly and we are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to ensure quality control throughout all phases of the project. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget. Duties Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA compliance and project specifications. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate project progress and resolve any issues that arise. Working supervisory role overseeing the construction process from start to finish and perform hands on field construction and repair in all phases. Review blueprints and project plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks. Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship. Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring financial accountability. Assist in construction estimating by providing input on labor, materials, and time requirements. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project status, timelines, and any potential delays. Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management or supervisory roles within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of budgeting, contract management, and construction estimating practices. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings. Familiarity with quality control processes in construction projects. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts effectively. In depth knowledge of carpentry materials and techniques. Hands on experience with appropriate power tools. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.
