Job Description

ABOUT MR SQUARE CONSTRUCTION, INC
We build high-end custom homes in Naples. We're a six-year-old company with a small, tight team, and we run our jobs on BuilderTrend to manage all our day-to-day activities in one place. We're adding a Field Site Supervisor because we're growing and we want someone who owns the jobsite to ensure quality and execution.
THE ROLE
You'll be the person on site every day making sure the work matches the plans, the specs, and the schedule. You'll run the crews and subs, catch problems before they add cost, and keep the jobsite safe, clean, and professional. The PM backs you up on schedule, budget, and the client; the office handles permits, selections, and sub compliance. Your job is the field.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Run daily jobsite operations: morning huddles, crew coordination, sub scheduling, and same-day daily logs in BuilderTrend
  • Walk the site morning and afternoon; flag safety, quality, or schedule issues right away
  • Inspect work against plans, specs, and client selections before it gets signed off
  • Own the punch list from the first walk-through to client handover
  • Keep extra work tied to an approved change order — you flag scope questions to the PM as an RFI, and no one works off a verbal
  • Keep the PM current on schedule risk and opportunities to pull work forward
  • Enforce jobsite safety and site rules with every crew and sub
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Degree in construction management or a related field, or equivalent years of experience in the field
  • 3+ years in residential construction with at least a year leading crews or running a site — lead carpenters and assistant supers ready to step up are exactly who we're looking for
  • Able to read and interpret construction plans, specs, and documents, and hold the work to them
  • Leadership skills — you can run a jobsite and direct subcontractors with confidence and respect
  • Have been on a custom home from slab through CO and know the trade sequencing that gets it there
  • Comfortable in jobsite software — BuilderTrend or similar — for daily logs, punch lists, and RFIs
  • Clear, direct communicator with subs, crews, and the office
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation between jobsites Nice to have: OSHA 30; experience with high-end finishes and material handling; Spanish.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Daily logs done same day. Punch lists that close on schedule. Zero unauthorized extra work. Subs that show up because they know you run a good site. And a PM who trusts your read on the job without double-checking it.
WHAT WE OFFER
We are a growing company, and right now what we offer is salary and the team.
  • Competitive salary, depending on experience
  • A small, hardworking team where you'll know everyone's name and everyone will know yours. A healthy working environment and a culture people actually want to be part of
  • High-end custom homes — the kind of work that builds a reputation
  • Real ownership of the field. We're building our standard processes now, and the Field Site Supervisor will help shape how the jobsite runs
  • Room to grow with the company as we add projects
HOW TO APPLY
Send a resume and a short note on the last custom home you worked on — size, finish level, and what you'd do differently — to JpetitJean@mrsquareconst.com. We move fast; you'll hear back within a few days. MR Square Construction, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
