Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced T&M Work Superintendent to lead and oversee time-and-materials (T&M) construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role is vital in managing field operations, coordinating with project teams, and maintaining strict adherence to construction safety and quality standards. Provide supervision and coordination for all Time and Materials (T&M) work through completion. Track labor hours, materials, equipment, and daily progress. Ensure all work is properly documented, approved, and completed in accordance with project requirements. Coordinate with the General Contractor (GC) and maintain a clean and safe work area until the job is finished. Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities on T&M projects, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Manage and coordinate construction schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent project management tools to meet deadlines. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction documents to guide field teams effectively. Oversee subcontractor performance, manage crew assignments, and ensure proper staffing levels for optimal productivity. Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance with federal and local safety regulations such as OSHA. Monitor project budgets, track costs using HeavyBid or similar estimating software, and report on project progress regularly. Conduct regular safety meetings, enforce construction safety management practices, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Collaborate with project managers on contract administration, change order processing, and documentation via Prolog or comparable systems. Utilize Bluebeam for digital plan review and markups to facilitate clear communication across teams. Lead efforts in construction drawing review, technical interpretation, and troubleshooting onsite issues promptly. Ensure proper use of tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when required on pipeline or electrical projects. Maintain detailed records of daily activities, safety incidents, inspections, and progress reports to support project transparency. Experience Proven track record managing heavy civil or commercial construction projects with a focus on T&M contracts. Extensive experience supervising construction crews in fast-paced environments with a strong emphasis on safety compliance. Demonstrated proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Primavera P6, Prolog, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and OSHA regulations. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, technical drawings interpretation, project scheduling, and construction drawing review. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in budgeting and quality control processes. Excellent managerial communication skills for managing teams effectively and coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations along with experience supervising safety programs onsite. Construction site experience in pipeline projects or other heavy infrastructure developments is highly desirable. Familiarity with Ohmmeter usage for electrical testing within pipeline or electrical systems is a plus.
