" We will be the only one who can do what we do. Responsibilities Working with the Lead Superintendent and Project Managers to develop & implement overall project work schedule, along with daily and weekly work schedules. Including the coordination of all subcontractor scopes and responsibilities. Managing subcontractor manpower, schedules, deliverables and quality. Leading, supervising, and developing quality standards among all trades on site. Developing & managing the overall site safety program as required and ensuring subcontractor compliance. Managing & Making decisions related to the performance of work related to scheduling, delivery, and logistics. Overseeing work among all trades to promote a coordinated project operation. Resolving local area problems, clarifications, securing adequate labor & equipment, and coordinating scheduling. Ensure that the subcontractor is fully executing & complying with his contracted scope of work. Acting as on-site liaison to inspection agencies (town/city, third party inspections, etc.) Assisting the Project Manager in managing the billing process as it relates to work in place and overseeing completed payrolls, material invoices, and subcontractor payment applications. Managing the work to ensure that all is installed with compliance to the approved design/drawings. Knows plans & specifications of the project, with emphasis on milestones and deadlines. Communicate with the Project Team regarding RFIs and Material Submittals. Experience with Buildertrend is a plus. Requirements Proven 5-7 years of superintendent experience w/ 3 years minimum of commercial experience. Must be able to work flexible hours. The initial need is for a fast-paced summer project that requires 2nd shift supervision, which will be from 12pm
  • 8pm, Monday
  • Saturday.
Must ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times.

Thorough understanding of the FL building code as it relates to commercial construction. Thorough knowledge and understanding of the general and subcontractor documents, drawings, specifications, and materials. Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills combined with good attention to detail Demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and teamwork. Ability to interact and communicate effectively within the organization, with subcontractors, and with architects/designers.
