This position will be responsible formanaging commercial Plumbing and/or HVAC projects which may include office buildings, restaurants,schools, hotels, hospitals and military bases. Responsibilities
- Review contracts
- Prepare cost and billing breakdown for each project
- Purchase material using KLC's Prime PO or manual PO systems
- Generate Requests for Information, Requests for Change Order and Subcontract Change Orders
- Generate Field Instruction
- Thoroughly document any issues, problems or potential problems for each project
- Prepare and manage the completion of the project punch list
- Prepare Submittals per General Contractor's requirements Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel and Outlook
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Sage 300 Construction experience a plus,but not required
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Must have some plumbing and HVAC experience Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience as Project Management or Assistant Project manager
- Willing and able to work a 40+ hour work week
- Valid Driver's License
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Experience with take offs on plans
- Experience with AIA billing
- Clear criminal record for educational and correctional facility projects
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test Benefits
